Was he really listening to those words again? He would have liked them to be part of his imagination, to be caused by the mixture of the anaesthetics and the terrible headache… maybe if he didn't answer, the words would go away… she would go away… maybe she wasn't even there.

"Damian, are you listening to me? You have to give up on this" No, it wasn't his imagination, those words were there, slapping him again as though someone had emptied a bucket full of cold water down his spine.

A Turning PointAt first the only thing he could register was heaviness, and indistinct voices murmuring at the edge of hearing. He felt curiously disconnected; having no discernible thoughts or feelings apart from the sensation of drifting purposelessly, as though on some great, black, endless sea. He could not quite recall where he was or what had happened, though he had a vague sensation of restlessness gnawing at the edge of his consciousness. Was there something he was supposed to be doing? With that thought came a flash of pain and fear followed by an explosion of memory.

Introduction

The Quest is a story created by *Loki-Wings and *ShamanEileen, and it is about a long trip involving the characters Robbie Firth and Damian Braddock in their search for the mythical Panacea.

It is all based on the Harry Potter universe, although it has nothing to do with the canon, nor the timeline.
